A collaboration between Interesting Times Gang x Ingridsdotter with Jonas Bohlin, LIV Mahalo is a tribute to the ocean’s movement and resilience. The tabletop is crafted from recycled fishing nets and CD cases, resting on Bohlin’s iconic LIV base - originally inspired by his 1994 rowing journey from Stockholm to Paris. Due to the hand-pressed production process, each tabletop is entirely unique, with organic variations formed by the raw materials.

Design

LIV Mahalo embodies the ever-changing currents of the sea. The bold, circular tabletop is made from discarded fishing nets collected from Sweden’s West Coast, symbolizing nature’s ability to transform waste into something new. When heated and pressed, the nets and plastic merge into unpredictable, organic patterns; meaning no two tables will ever be identical.

Beneath the tabletop stands Jonas Bohlin’s LIV base, originally inspired by his rowing expedition across Europe in 1994. Its steel frame echoes the silhouette of a floodgate, representing the balance between control and the constant movement of water.

Each tabletop is hand-pressed from recycled material, making every piece entirely unique. The patterns and color variations are shaped naturally during production- the table will not look exactly like the reference images. Care & Maintenance

Use a damp cloth for upkeep and if it gets severely stained, mix 1/10 soap and water.
